The problem
A legal brief is only as good as its citations, and language models are notorious for inventing them.

The approach
Built an agent on Strands Agents and an 8-node LangGraph pipeline, running on AWS Bedrock behind FastAPI. Eight tool-calling checks verify each citation against a corpus of 38,005 Supreme Court judgments.

The outcome
Deployed and live. Every answer is grounded in a retrieved judgment — nothing is asserted without a source.
